  • Can you post a screenshot of what this looks like?
  • So I connect headphones or monitors through the outs and control my signal through the app Yup. You'll find that wireless monitor systems are pretty expensive, mostly because they have proprietary wireless technology because WiFi introduces lat…

  • none of us cannot hear the audio The XR18 does not transmit audio wirelessly. No digital mixer does. The XR18 has six auxiliary outputs, which are typically sent to stage monitors or in-ear monitors. Xair Monitor Mixer lets you remotely contro…

  • Well, over a year later, I finally reproduced it locally. It was the stupidest thing ever. Didn't even require a code change to fix. Having trouble getting a build posted to the Play Store, because the machine that had my original upload key had a d…
  • Afraid not. XAir Monitor Mixer supports only the "XAir" family of Behringer mixers: the X18, XR18, XR16 and XR12. The X32 and X32 Rack use a different protocol.

  • Not sure what that means. It doesn't connect to an aux, it connects to the mixer, then controls any available aux. The messages it sends to control an aux are identical, and differ only by a single number in the message, so if it's able to control a…
  • Sorry, Steefgee, it's not possible. Behringer's API doesn't transmit data at all. You can get a refund via the App Store. Sorry!

  • Can you connect from the same phone using Behringer's app?
  • Sorry for the delay. The app is known to not work on some Android 7 devices. Contact me via xairmonitormixer@tetzfiles.com and I can send you an APK file to try. If you can't or don't want to do that, I understand. Your best option in that case i…

  • You're a hero, my friend! I'll try to spend some time investigating that this weekend.
  • Hey, I updated the bug report title to be more general, because it happens to some other phones as well. The one consistency is that they're all running Android 7. Here's where I'm at. I currently don't have a device I can reproduce it on. In the…
  • It's not you. It's in no way obvious that the IP address is editable. It's one of those things where I knew it was editable, so I saw it as editable, and it took outside eyes to show me that it really wasn't. I like your suggesting, but I'll proba…
  • The search function should be able to query the phone There really is no search function, not in the sense of Behringer's app. I can see now that the "searching for mixer" text certainly suggests that, but in the context of my app it simply mea…
  • My app isn't telling you what the mixer's address is, it's telling you what IP address it's going to use to try to find the mixer. It's looking at 192.168.1.1 which can't be right if your mixer is on a 10.10.10 subnet. The official X-Air Mixer a…
  • Hey, ant. Did the app work before you updated?
  • We'll nail down the mixer with a static IP address as you suggest That'll totally work (though, for the record, I didn't actually suggest it ). Alternatively, you can use Behringer's app to find the IP address it received from the router via D…
  • I think the vast majority of users use an external router, because it's near suicidal to rely on the built-in WiFi for a show. 2.4Ghz is too congested and the built-in wifi module is really weak. I'm not aware of any connectivity issues with XAir M…
  • Ahh... OK. I actually had that in the app during development, but I took it out because I figured it was unnecessary for monitor mixing -- mean, that's something you mostly do by ear, right? Lead vocal isn't loud enough, you drag that slider up a b…
  • Hmm.. I don't see any attachment. If you didn't forget, could be a bug in this forum software. Could you link to imgur.com?
  • You can use the WiFi built into the board. But you should know that it's risky to use the built-in WiFi at a show. It's very flakey. Most people use an external 5Ghz router at shows. This is not an XAir Monitor Mixer thing, you'll have the same pro…

  • Well darn. I based the bus count for the XR12 on images of the mixer. However, looking at the product page for the XR12 just now, it appears that it has 6 busses. So you have 6 software busses that you can arbitrary route to any of 3 physical outp…
  • Version 1.02 on the App Store adds support for the X18, XR16, XR12, MR18, and MR12.
  • There's now a minimum label size, and default channel label (01, 02, 03, etc.) if you haven't configured scribble strips yet.
  • Version 1.02 on the App Store now should fix this issue.
  • Update: Mudshark was able to test a build for me which resolves the issue. I've asked Apple to expedite pushing that build to the App Store. Hopefully not too many users will be affected. I'll marked this as fixed when that goes live and I get some…
  • If I got you an emergency test build, could you try it for me? You'd have to download Test Flight from Apple.
  • Thanks for the report. Do you have the latest version of the app (new version went up yesterday)? Can you confirm that you saw the fader screen running once. Does this happen every time you try to select a bus, or did it just happen once? Love you…
  • I've never made any attempt to customize the names of the buses. They're just Bus 1, Bus 2, etc. Ahh... that explains it. Behringer's app show defaults if no names have been set. My app just shows a blank label. Perhaps that's why you're no…
  • Thanks so much for testing! VU meters light up on empty channels Yeah, I included a bug in this build. Will be fixed in the next. The first time the wrong sliders were moving (if I touched channel 4, channel 1 was moving). That's very wo…
